So I bought this after seeing my daughter has one. I often drink tea and make a cup before an hour when I'm talking a lot. I only drank maybe half a cup before I had to start class, and when I got back to her it was already cold. This little kettle and heating pad is perfect. I can do a potty and it will stay warm for the whole four lessons. I bought small glass cups so I could quickly pour a cup, take a sip, and start teaching right away. I can add loose tea, tea bags or tea flowers. It's a nice little kit and I use it at least twice a day for four hours each time. It pours easily and cleanly, without mush. I leave it on my desk and take the kettle to fill up instead of filling it up in the kitchen. As I did this, the handle seemed to slip in my hands, so I had to put an oven mitt under the base to carry it to the table. Such a simple and elegant set. It would be a really nice gift for anyone who loves tea or even those who dictate a lot and need to calm their throat. One day, a few weeks after I received the set, my cat knocked over the kettle and the handle broke. I was very upset about that. I call the company to explain what happened and to see if they have a replacement pan that would fit the heating pad. I was hoping I could plant the flower screen in the new pot just to maintain the beauty of the set. After a brief discussion about whether their recommendation would work with the warmer I have and so on, they ended up sending me another set. I found that the most generous. I'm so obsessed with this little set, I just wanted everything to be exactly the same. Needless to say, their customer service gets 5+ stars from me.
