Update: I liked this set for 4 months but then suddenly one stopped working. It contains 6 batteries and figuring out which one might be bad without replacing all 6 is very difficult. Tried new batteries, nothing helped. I think he went back to handmills. I bought this set for Himalayan salt and pepper. They are very easy to use, just flip them over and they will automatically do the trick. No more trying to hand grind food with the standard coffee grinders that come with those salt and pepper bottles you buy at the grocery store. Cons: I wish they had a button you could press to activate rather than being fully automatic upside down because sometimes too much salt comes out. It grinds so fast it's hard to stop at just the right amount. If you don't scrape off what's left on top, you'll end up with too much salt and pepper in your food the next time you use it. It also took a bit of trial and error to figure out my desired settings so that I could get the exact coarseness I wanted. And I notice that the black material gets dirty easily with my fingers. Despite these disadvantages, they look good, save time, and are beautiful and easy to use.
