I only gave this duvet 2 stars because it is incredibly soft and the timer function works well. At the same time, it does not heat up at all and does not heat up evenly throughout the ceiling. I've been using this blanket quite a bit for a few months now. It's still working after a few months, which I think is a plus as some of the other brands I've tried have failed fairly quickly. However, it never warmed up evenly or well from day one. If you really need heat, choose another brand as you won't get much of it. I have a spot in part of the blanket that heats up really well and that's it. I got around this by leaving it preheated and stacked prior to use so that a hot spot heats the rest of the quilt. Then, as soon as I unpack it, the remaining parts finally cool down. I definitely wouldn't recommend it unless you're looking for a nice, super soft blanket with some warmth.
