I love the concept of Sleepphones and I keep buying and asking for gifts hoping my next set of headphones will last longer. They are comfortable and have good sound as long as they last. But they last anywhere from a year to 3 months (not counting one instance when my friend who gave them to me had to change them for me during the warranty period). This time I used a plastic wire with no "twisting""The knitted one was a poor design (the wire breaks through) and I wrapped tape around the weak points where it would most likely break and I didn't wrap the wire around bent the headset when not using the headphones. It didn't help, the headphones didn't last long. I'm not saying that other headsets sometimes don't have this problem, but they cost $7-15. People don't sleep silently, they twist and pull on these wires , so need the cables additional protection. I'm not saying they should last forever, but a year should be the minimum for them to lose their price. Because of all the controversy surrounding the use of wireless devices, I don't want to buy wireless devices. So please upgrade your wires! (Excuse my English)
