My stats: 6ft 1in, 200lbs, pinched spine, pinched sciatic nerve, bad sleep, hot sleep. I absolutely LOVE this mattress. When it arrived it was well packaged. After opening, I had doubts that it would fully expand. I took it to an open space and cut open the vacuum sealed pouch. The bed quickly began to expand. A few hours later it looked complete but I followed the instructions and waited. 72 hours later it was ready. I pushed on the edge of the bed, worried, it was hard, almost hard. I then laid on top of her and my worries melted away as she formed around me beautifully. It's firm but very comfortable. The original plastic smell has almost completely disappeared. The first night we slept on it I didn't wake up during the night and felt very good. I have back pain and since sleeping on this mattress I have found that I wake up with less back pain and stiffness. I sleep a lot better too. The gel top of this mattress is amazing as it keeps a nice cool layer even if you stay in the same place for a long time. When summer comes I see that as a HUGE plus. Pros: Hard but lending, cooling, even hardness over the entire surface, odor dissipates within a few days. Cons: To be honest, none yet. I will update in a month or two. 4 months update: and feels brand new. No dents, soft/hard spots and no signs of wear or breakage. We live in western Pennsylvania and it was in the 90's during the day and 68-72 at night. The bed gel layer was a real blessing. I go to bed 2-3 hours after my wife and when I sit down and then go to bed she never knows. My back has gotten better in the last 3 months than in previous years. 1 year update: still looks brand new. No sagging or sagging areas. Every night my wife and I step into it and feel like the first night we slept on it. This mattress has literally helped me sleep better than I have for the last year. in 20+ years with a bad back.
