Potentially quite dangerous. Right now I'm taking this on vacation and writing it while I'm sleep deprived because I feel like I need to do it as soon as possible. I don't know if it was used by me, packaged as new, or if this blanket was made in unsafe conditions which allowed sharp metal to be woven into it, but I removed 2 small pins (they don't look like they were intended for sewing, to be honest I don't know exactly what they are, but I've seen them used on fabric) and an old staple from it after cutting myself with it in a dream. I get up at 2:30 a.m. to show you one of the things I literally just cut my right hand on that was woven deep into the fabric so I had to turn on the light to find it and pull out. Same goes for the two needles I noticed hiding inside earlier, but I fished them out and ignored those who were hoping it was a minor bug. I am very disappointed because the quilt is very beautiful and I am very confused as to how this could have happened. Now I don't have a blanket to sleep on this trip as I only took this and won't risk any more cuts.
