A few weeks ago I received a solid brass propane torch head. This is an absolute gem and works great except it doesn't have an igniter and it's annoying having to use a manual lighter every time. That's why I took this guy. This lantern is a level (or two) higher than this one. In addition to incorporating a piezoelectric starter, it is easier to hold. The black base is cast metal, the tube is stainless steel and the rest is brass. Three screw-on tips allow you to use different sized flames for different purposes. My wife wants to use it to sear meat after sous vide cooking. I used a small nozzle to pop bubbles in the epoxy I use to fill cracks in wood panels. Absolutely no complaints. This must go on for many, many years. Five stars.
