It has an auto seal feature and I love it. So easy to press the button and drink. Never dripped and I slept with my water bottle every night. Unfortunately I couldn't find it. But I was thrilled when I found this one, also with a car seal. I bought it and when it arrived I checked and admired it but found that when I pressed the button it was too hard to press. My other bottle is very easy to squeeze but this one took too much force, I almost wanted to use two hands and the button didn't squeeze as hard as the other one, almost didn't feel like you were moving it. The drinking hole is smaller, which leads me to believe that the water flow will also be less. pressure considered. There seemed to be a gap at the junction of the rubber and plastic. I wondered if this would seal the water. I didn't try it as the second I had trouble clicking the button I knew I was going to return it. I asked my mom to press the button too and she said the same thing. The way it cleans is way better than the other bottle how can it be opened but I never had trouble cleaning the other. The closure at the top is annoying! It feels like a very cheap plastic and that it will break easily, plus it sticks out too much. The upper valve has to be opened manually, but it locks into place. I would leave it open all the time because it's a hassle to flip it over and press the button, but this design makes it travel-friendly. I want the top flap to automatically open in sync with the inner flap. I was afraid the internal mechanism would break, it's plastic and the connectors are directly exposed to your fluid. I don't know why Contigo changed the design so much. The old design was better, stronger, more compact and well cleaned.
