Review on YIKA Vertical Horizontal Handheld Clothing by Christopher Lance

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy to use and effective

I bought this primarily as a quick and easy alternative to ironing fabrics I had in stock for sewing, but decided to test it on the laundry I was going to do before hanging had left in the basket for a long time . It took a little longer to get the hang of initially, but it was still quicker than ironing and a lot easier without having to take out the ironing board and make room. I just hung the clothes and made a few passes, smoothing them out with my hand. You can see how much better it looks after my first use. I overdid it a bit in places which got the fabric wet, but it dries quickly with no wrinkles. I'm very happy that I now have this to hand when hanging out the laundry in case something creases in between. I highly recommend this product. It's a great size to put aside and easy to hold in hand without tiring during use. It heats up quickly and, even at low steam temperatures, works faster than an iron and with less effort. It's also easy to pack for travel, and the light weight won't add bulk to your luggage.

Pros
  • Ceramic Coated Soleplate Safer than a stainless steel plate on all fabrics - silk, cotton, wool and linen Smooths delicate fabrics Removes musty odors from clothing Smoothes curtains without removing them Also great for refreshing upholstery Washing toys etc.
Cons
  • No form required
