I have been painting houses for 18 years. I spend a lot of time on my knees. I only used them last week but they are the most comfortable knee pads I have ever had. There is usually a break-in period, just like with new shoes. Not with these. Also, I always tucked the top strap between the pad and the thigh, as I find knee pads only need a strap below the knee.
