I bought these for an elderly relative who weighs less than 130 pounds. When I put her on her legs, I need help to "pinch" the top of the zipper area to successfully zip it up. I always put my finger behind the zipper so I don't pinch her skin when zipping, but the construction of both the zipper and stockings is very good so this has never happened. (A tack sewn in at the top solves this problem). They are much easier to put on than stockings without a zipper. Physiotherapists who have seen them always speak positively of these zip support tubes. Buy one size larger than your usual size. For this petite woman I bought a large size.
