Got these to replace my kz as10s which I had for about 3 years. Been using it almost every day for a long time. The connection to which the cable was connected is broken. You don't suffer from this problem. The way the tip comes out of the earpiece allows for a stronger connection point. The only issue I had was the cable accidentally snapping off once or twice. Another change and advantage is the lateral overhang. Others that I had from kz didn't have that and they have to be pulled out of their ears by the cable. A big improvement over this one in that regard. Also, the brass tip holds the tip in place very firmly. With the as10 I had to glue the tip to avoid finding tweezers. The fit is fine. I wear them for about 8-12 hours a day most days of the week. After a few hours, some discomfort is felt. You may not have the same problem. However, this is not enough to make me give up on them. So the physical side. Sound. It is great. You need to burn through a bit to get the final sound. Definitely recommend getting other advice. The insulation isn't that great on the ones that come with it. You'll lose a lot of bass if you don't get good punch. Bass is solid. Miss are good. Slightly warm middle but clean. The highs are very clear. The soundstage is rock solid. I have a number of over-ear Grados that sound very similar to these and that's why I like them. Similar soundstage but with more bass. (As in-ear versus over-ear should). Resistance is a small problem. They are so sensitive that most devices must be set to minimum volume. This is not usually a problem, but many devices have static or noise problems at this level. Keep this in mind. If you're using a low-quality desktop cord, which is what I use most of the time, make sure the extension cord is a good quality one. I was picking up static from my computer monitor with a cheaper cable and had to change it. General. great stuff Fits neatly. The sounds are great. Light them up for at least a day. These are my daily drivers.
