I live in the country and finding additional channels didn't help us, but deleting some of the ones we already had did help. I doubled the antenna. It plugs in easily and the neat, small, sleek design makes it easy to hide. It's so discreet my mom ended up getting one. She loves hers and hasn't gone from any channels to 30 despite living in a town less than 6 miles from the tower. I think it works, although it didn't work for me. I think you just need to do some research and make sure you are close enough to the tower. There is an .org you can check, just again I'm not sure what it is. Got this antenna at a discount for an honest review.
