I bought one of these for the shower to hang my wife's brush, shower cap etc (nothing too heavy). It replaced a set of suction cup hooks and I didn't want to drill into faux marble. This worked flawlessly and lasted for several weeks in an extremely humid environment. I liked it so much that I bought another one. I see some low rated reviews from people who have placed it on a painted surface and hung heavy objects from it and then complained that it fell off. If he peeled the paint off the wall and fell, your paint didn't work, not double sided tape. For my use, even in a humid place, it works great. You can put another bath for guests and a children's bath. They have been up for over 2 years and are still securely attached and look great.
