I've had this UAG protector (black) on my SP4 for almost a year now. I work in a commercial environment so there is a lot of room for abuse and harm. This protector has saved my SP4 from damage more than once. After a year of daily use it's still in great condition apart from a few scuffs from sharp objects. My SP looks the same as the day I bought it. Does the SP become unwieldy? Of course. Which electronic protection does not work? Is it difficult to take it off? Moderately. But if you CAREFULLY take it off one corner at a time and have a little patience, it's no problem. I remove the protector monthly for a thorough cleaning of the SP4 and protector and have had no problems. Even after several moves, it still fits great. My only very minor complaint is that you can't access your expansion slot with the case as the slot is behind the SP easel. If you frequently need to access an expansion slot, this protection isn't for you. If you don't need access to an expansion slot but need excellent protection from damage, this is for you.
