We liked the MX Anywhere mouse, despite its known click button issues, because the series struck the perfect balance between size, weight, and hand feel. This current model has two nice new advantages and two distinct disadvantages. On the plus side, you can charge via a mini-USB cable instead of AA batteries, as well as connect via Bluetooth and quickly switch between three devices. Being able to charge the mouse every now and then without having to buy batteries is great, and switching devices is usually (though not always) quick and successful. The disadvantages are twofold. First, a mouse without batteries weighs half as much, which makes it squishy when you move around the mouse pad, and for some reason the mouse buttons move a shorter distance when pressed, so the feedback isn't as strong. more charging time without consumables, you don't need a small USB receiver to connect it and it works seamlessly with up to three computers or other devices. But it seems cheaper and doesn't give good feedback when clicked. And it's more expensive. I prefer the previous version (which is still on sale).
