I have an old PC, a new Mac Mini, and an iPad, all on the same desk. Before seeing this product I was resigned to either using separate keyboards for everyone or moving the USB receiver from one computer to another so I could use the same keyboard. It all ended when I got this keyboard/mouse. By pressing the appropriate key on the keyboard (above the number pad) it is selected which computer I will work with. It's a bit trickier with a mouse, as pressing the button at the bottom cycles through the selection. However, it's simple and doesn't clutter up my desk. And that's what I wanted to get at.
