This is a factory grip. It fits and works perfectly. BUT you need to make sure the metal clip (or cap or socket) isn't still there where your previous grip was missing. The metal clip is part of the bracket that this part comes with, so YOU CANNOT have a metal part on both the male and female ends. I think it's easier to take it off from the male end as you can just pull it out. (No puns). Don't be stubborn like me and read all the reviews that it fits perfectly and just try to push it as hard as you can. It takes a little effort to get it in place. If you push too hard, something will jam. And it's probably this clip. For those of you with a perfect fit, this simply means that the metal clip has come loose along with the handle. For some of us it was just a pen and little did we know a metal clip was in the way. I'm giving 4 stars because of the price and the fact that I don't have to explain it to everyone who says their role isn't suitable. not suitable. This is a simple description that I think can accompany the cheap packaging of this product.
