The fit of these shoes is really unusual. The top strap is very tight around the foot which really compresses the little foot a lot, but the length of the shoe is perfect. My daughter's feet aren't plump, I can't even imagine, so I feel the strap at the top is too tight for the length of the shoe. This is making it difficult for my daughter to put her shoes on and is in the do it yourself phase, she is very frustrated with this and having to ask me for help. Once the shoes are on I find them comfortable and the strap doesn't bother them that much when the shoes are worn.
