I wanted to love this bed desperately.it was for my big baby he's a 100 lb, yellow lab who's just well. 12 and needs bed everywhere . and the bigger the better .lol but round is amazing so I couldn't wait, I literally did everything I was supposed to let it expand over 24 hours etc, so when it was time to move it in and see how he liked it we really couldn't because of the stench it lets off it was like a mildew / chemical blend that would not quit over the span of a week. It actually made me sick w/ a terrible headache and nausea but didn't realize it till the tail end of the week. I am also very sensitive to smells but let that be a side point. I clean with lysol and bleach so I'm okay with the scent so long as it goes away and its not a smell that just screams somethings wrong here. Other than that what didn't do any favors to this particular purchase was dealing with amazon directly . I know strange but seriously I wanted to see how to return it since its a- huge b- not ever going to fit back in the box and c- I was hoping if the seller knew about the smell maybe it was replaceable or if all of them were like that it would have been nice to know and most likely for them too. But instead I was on the phone with someone with limited English speaking capabilities and they were directly reading from a script, I had never encountered this before when contacting amazon but all the less still extremely frustrating since spending money and returning things should not ever be that difficult. Since this time, it seems to be an ongoing trend as for phone support, so that sucks for everyone buyers and sellers. I was asking how to send it back due to the nature if the memory foam expanding instead ups was at my door the next day and for the next two days after that. So I had to do it all over again and yet again the following week purchase a box big enough and explain to yet anther person who also lacked when it came to the the English language. I just needed a return label, but it seems my package had been picked up already and was headed back, good thing I'm honest cause it most certainly was not, but try explaining this to a robotic call center employee in another time zone, impossible. overall just crappy experience for something that was supposed to be a good large $ purchase for my dog who I love and needed a new dog bed for.
