I ordered this pendant to wear to the derby and it is exactly what I wanted. But it came with a clip and I wanted to use a headband instead. Well, it was impossible to remove the clip. It was first put on with these sharp prongs inserted into a groove in the felt notch that held it in place. Then there was cotton padding around the clip in that notch to keep it in place and it wouldn't move. I asked a question on this page asking if there is a trick to remove the clip and got helpful answers like "just press". Yes, thanks, but I tried. So I think I must have gotten one that someone returned and set up Jerry so the clip doesn't move. In the end I had to bend and snap the top with pliers, use a mini screwdriver to split all the stuffing in the recess and I was able to snap it off. Of course I don't have the clip now, but I probably wouldn't use it anyway. If I had more time I would send it back. I also love the fascinator and it goes perfectly with my dress. I just want people not to wear stuff, modify it and send it back. how low can you be
