My father had a history of falls and we couldn't always hear his cries for help. It would be perfect. Now he's bedridden, giving mom peace of mind that she can work outside (the receiver is plugged into an external outlet) or sleep upstairs and still be notified if he needs help. The most amazing thing is that my dad lives in a house next door to us with a small forest canyon between our houses and we can plug in one of the receivers in our house and be notified when dad presses a button in his house. We are excited about this product! I'm just trying to figure out how to buy more receivers so I can put one in the store, on the ground floor, etc. At the moment we only have one receiver in each house.
