I have tried every acne remedy imaginable including smelly sulfur soap, tar soap, benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, tea tree oil itself and every dandruff shampoo and this one beats them all! My daughter brought some with her when she was visiting abroad. I've used it and for the most part it has kept my acne under control and my skin has stayed less oily. My scalp, which I'm still struggling with, but I know it could be mostly the hormones and vitamins I need to balance my body. I've read that many people with acne have problems with yeast or dust mites in addition to other problems. I'm not exactly sure what my cause is (although I do know that gut and hormone issues are partly to blame). Anyway it helps a lot and I can feel the tea tree tingle which is not too strong but enough to feel it go deep into my pores. I also use it on my scalp. Unless you have very oily skin and don't have acne or dandruff I wouldn't use this product as it dries you out significantly. Use a good moisturizer when using this wash. Sometimes I only use it once a day as it keeps my oil under control after a wash.
