Review on Reversible Leathercraft Business Apron by BRASS TACKS by Covey Palmer

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good quality for the $10-15 price range, but inferior to designer belts.

My belt collection consists of designer brands because the quality of the leather is high and the wear resistance is higher. I think of belts like shoes: you pay more for better materials that look better and last longer. I received this belt as part of a Revain promotion. Otherwise I would not have bought this belt. Overall the quality of this belt is not on the same leather or buckle quality as designer brands (like Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Perry Ellis etc.) but more like a mainstream label (e.g. Macy's). brand, etc.). I can just lay my straps side by side and say this Brass Tacks strap is made from inferior materials. It's not a junk belt, but obviously the leather isn't as thick or stretchy and the buckle isn't as sophisticated. For a retail price of $20, I could do better by paying a little more if I find a designer belt on sale. for 25-30 dollars. But with a retail price of $20 and an asking price of $10-15, this belt is a good value. I personally will use this belt for everyday wear.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • No mold required
