The first quad came with a broken camera. It took a while but I ended up changing it to another one that works great. In short, the copter works great. It's my first plane so I don't have anything to compare it to but it was certainly easy enough to fly. The only problem as mentioned in other reviews is that it is difficult to control in the wind as it is very light. However, his lightness comes in handy when colliding with things. What he hits too hard won't hurt, and he himself will keep up with the times. The flip buttons work, which is cool if a bit useless. The camera is surprisingly good quality. Works well in good lighting (ie during the day). I used the quad around my house (bad idea) in relatively poor lighting and it was quite grainy. Battery life is only around 10 minutes, but additional batteries are available from Amazon. I bought 6 for $23 and it comes with a 6 slot charger. It ships with the 2 already, that should give me about 80 minutes of flight time. I think this helicopter will give me the experience of learning to fly cheaply so I don't crash my phantom 3 if I decide to have one. It's also a great way to check the gutters without taking out the ladder! (I tried to insert the video but Revain scales it down so you can't see the actual quality). One thing I would suggest purchasing is an extension cord (I got one from Lowes for $40 that extends to 23 feet). I got stuck in a tree at about 45 feet on my first flight. I had to pull out the ladder and use an extension cord to bring it down. I see this a lot when you're flying next to trees and you're a beginner like me. The only reason I'm taking it off 1 star is because the original drone camera didn't work and it took a while to get things right. with the seller. Overall I think I'm very happy with it!
