I find this to be the perfect size for storing quilts, guest sheets and comforters so I'm not sure what other size people are thought to be. They're a bit too big to fit under my bed, which is where I was hoping they would go (they fit, but I'm afraid to rip them apart to pull them out again), but they work very well in ours linen closet. I like the transparent plate so you can see what's inside. I bought a similar item at a discount store for about the same price and these 1) had a zipper that was not finished on the ends and the head came off when I opened it, 2) were made of "fabric", more like paper that ripped when I just folded the blankets inwards! I didn't even darn or pull anything, they just fell apart! Unlike them, they have ready-made, durable zippers and a quilted "fabric" (that still looks like Tyvek) that has withstood full packaging and zippers. As I intend to use them for long term storage they are about as durable as I need them to be. I doubt you could use them as luggage or often without eventually tearing them as they are not made of woven material.
