Holy crap. literally! I opened the package and the smell hit me. smells like cow pats! However. I threw the sheets in the washing machine. twice, wash cold, tumble dry. Then he tried to put the bed on. The Revain page says the California King leaf is an 18 inch bag. The packaging says it is a 17 inch bag. My mattress is 12 inches. The pocket of the new sheet is 12 inches, not 17 or 18. I tried putting the sheet on top of the mattress and while the sheet is barely wide enough, the length is 2 inches short. to fit the mattress and add that the elastic straps will not tuck under the mattress because they will not fit a 12 inch mattress. See attached photo of the bag. Flat sheet: The Revain page says 108 x 112, the packaging says 112 x 114, in real life and in person it's 96 x 101. You should have 1000 threads. I can't prove or disprove it, but it doesn't seem to be the 1000 thread quality that I've found in other products. I've already washed them, so Revain won't take them back. So I burned myself. Hmm, p Real Luxury 100% Egyptian Cotton - Authentic 1000 Thread Count 4 Sheet Set - Burgundy California King - Fits up to 18" Deep Pocket Mattress - Bad Idea. I think I'll burn the sheets.
