I could not for my whole life get this adapter to work with my new 970 Evo Plus 1TB. I bought a special adapter for this drive. I looked at a website that doesn't support this adapter and looked at the Amazon Q&A and comments. The minitool didn't see the disc, neither did the Samsung Mag. Both were given as possible solutions. I could not find this drive in computer management. So that wasn't an undivided problem either. The LED turns blue when connected to my USB-C port. So I think it's an expensive blue LED.
