I'm a fat person and I work in a school with a lot of smaller people who use my office furniture in unexpected ways (e.g. race cars and roller coasters) so I've experienced a lot of office chairs. . I recently ordered a chair well over my weight from a large office supply store and it broke anyway. This chair is so durable I'm sure it will last and it's supportive and comfortable. However, it's very heavy indeed, so it wouldn't be good if you had to move the chair to lift it up for the windshield wipers. (Anyway, it's on wheels, just roll it to the side.)
