Review on Stone Stoneware Reactive Glaze Dinnerware by Evan Haynes

Nice set of annoyances

The stone dinnerware set is aesthetically pleasing although the pink color should be a more normal pink (too dark in my opinion). The design of the plates is very modern. They are flat with short edges rather than the standard curvature in the middle. The top edge of the entire set is wavy. It looks beautiful and unique compared to the straight edge. There are several annoyances. That is hard. This is to be expected as it is a stone. It will not fold properly because the edges are straight and unevenly curled. This takes up extra closet space due to uneven stacking. The legs of the set are raw and rough. Most of us push the dishes onto the surface at some point. That can be pulling things out of the closet after they've been stacked on top of each other, or simply moving them across the kitchen counter to bring something closer. Since it is rough, it creates a very unpleasant noise. Not to mention that in the long run it will likely scratch every surface you own. I recommend using mats with this set. While I like the look of this set, I feel I need to take extra precautions when using it. It's not ideal for regular use, but it's great for special occasions.

Pros
  • RUSTIC CORE. A wonderful addition to your farmhouse or kitchen, this unique black and white mottled dinnerware in neutral tones will add a bright accent to any meal. Modern low-profile plates allow you to use the entire surface of the plate to serve food.
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for elderly
