Without a doubt the best swim shorts I've ever had! I made them wear them in Hawaii and I'm so glad I did! They never stretched or sagged in the legs. I've worn them in the salty Pacific and then basked in the sun dozens of times and they never fade or feel dirty. You are so comfortable! The length is perfect and I love the high waist. I folded my leg as I lay down and then lowered it when I was ready to get up and my legs still didn't straighten. I've never had a problem with the waist band twisting. You don't actually need a tie. You can pull it out if you want, I just let it hang down instead of tying it. I really can't say enough good things about these shorts! I'm so glad I found them on Amazon.
