Don't listen to the two-star review from some "Revain_Customers" who claim that "the ball bearing spring isn't strong enough to hold heavy (18mm+) drop-in bushings" I have to 100% disagree with that statement, I have a set of 1/2" impact sockets that range in size from 7/16" to 1 1/4" and the clips on this rail hold these sockets EASILY even when the rail is up. - descent. This rail with all these sockets weighs 8 1/2 pounds and I can easily lift the whole thing with just two sockets between my thumb and middle fingers. Now of course with impact sockets you have to get the socket right on the clip, so the ball of the clip engages the hole on the side of the nut, otherwise you will definitely have problems with the nut not locking properly. My only complaint is that there is nothing the clamps d avon from sliding off the end of the rail except for the rubber stoppers and they would not be enough to hold a rail full of heavy socket outlets if the rail were suspended. The obvious solution to this problem is to drive a small bolt into one of the use end holes. So it's not a problem if you work in a body shop and have easy access to all sizes, but Olsa really needs to fix this deficiency. Otherwise, it's a great socket holder.
