I have attached photos of fittings and it turned out that the metal could not stand it. I managed to salvage the glass part of the shelf and only the drinking glass I kept on the table under the shelf was broken. I have another shelf in the corner of the bathroom just above the toilet. I'm considering removing it so I don't risk it and the contents fall on my head.
