So I bought these to theoretically help increase the stability of the foldable freestanding pet gate (bought for post-surgery restraint for a vigorous corgi who needed repairs to his right sacrum - this includes pins) . Rods and bones are shaved, so limited movement is vital to his recovery). They match the gate I ordered so I added them as well although they are about 50% of the cost of the gate itself. They didn't help the gate - at least I think they reduced its stability. They were solid enough and appeared to have good build quality but didn't help, at least on our oak floors. I returned them.
