I was impressed with the quality of the soles. These are my dog's first pair of shoes and she got used to them in about 20 minutes. Make sure you measure the paw carefully - I got a bit too big and had to return the first LI I ordered. My 16lb Shih Tzu is a perfect match for M (she has petite legs but a strong body). The inside of the shoe feels a bit like paper (the tongue part of the shoe) and I'm afraid it will tear sooner or later. But for now 5 stars! Happy with my purchase.
