I love this product. I've already done an accent wall and covered the ugly marble at the bottom of my fireplace (I also used fireplace tile as you will see in the photos) and both areas turned out even better than I imagined. This material is easy to work with and easy to cut. Note that I went for a "more complicated" style - instead of just laying out a square that they come in, I cut them so that they intertwine. It took a little longer, but the results speak for themselves. Therefore there are NO SEAMS and it looks much more realistic (see photos). I couldn't detect any smell either. Just be aware that it sticks FAST. If you feel like you need to move it to get it in the right place, don't push it hard until you're absolutely sure you want it there. forever and ever. And it's not an easy exercise once you've done it. Once glued it stays for life unless you want to sand, sand and repaint it. But I take it easy because it looks great. This is very forgiving for those of us who are DIYers and aren't the best with straight lines. I have already bought more for another accent wall. See photo!
