I honestly had some doubts that it would hold the weight since it's plastic. I decided to give it a try and used two clips to mount the security camera. The camera I currently have was hardwired but the 20ft cable failed so I had the idea of putting together a solar powered battery system and it worked! I used a power supply, two clamps and a 360 degree rotating camera. make transition screw. The battery it contains is very heavy and has a capacity of 24,000mAh, so the camera is a bit lighter, but I was very surprised that it held up and didn't crack, break or fall off! so amazing that it can hold so much weight and can literally be used for more than just a phone mount! I'm buying 4 more for the rest of my security cameras! DRILLING IS NOT NECESSARY! :D
