I didn't know that shoes shouldn't pinch and hurt. I've had wide feet my whole life, but lately (admittedly due to weight gain) it's gotten to the point where most wide shoes don't even fit acceptably unless I go 2-3 sizes up, what how wearing clown shoes. and often made me stumble. Wearing these shoes (4E) was the first time in a long time that I had worn a shoe that didn't constrain my style. A few notes. When I first received the shoes, I couldn't fully close them. Not the end of the world; I put on a 3/4 zipper. The more I wear (stretch) them, the higher the zipper can go, which is good because if it's not fully closed, the zipper tends to come loose. 4E is definitely too big. I would risk reducing the width if I wanted the shoe to fit my foot. It doesn't really help other people, so you can just ignore this paragraph. I don't feel a ton of support. If you need a lot of arch support I would consider insoles or other shoes. I have already added another color of the same shoe to the cart. I love wearing them. The zip took a little getting used to (why not 4E with laces?), but I can handle it.
