I can't tell yet how well it keeps me warm; the material is quite thin. I've worn it a few times on days when it's a bit cooler and I think it must have helped as each layer would have made a difference, but not quite what I expected from a product that gave my medium tan should hold. I've also worn it as a shirt extension - I love the layered look. For that it was great. My main complaint at the moment is that it's too big for me and keeps slipping and gathering under my shirt. If I wear layered clothing in the winter, I can wear it over an undershirt so it stays in place better. I should note that I'm quite petite, although based on the product photos I expected it to fit better. He doesn't cling to me the way he looks. I washed and dried it; it has not decreased.
