We love super soft blankets, which we call the "puppy blanket" around the house because it looks so much like a puppy hug. Inexpensive ones, on the other hand, do not retain their attractiveness for so long. I hope this new Softies "Marshmallow" blanket will keep its softness longer as it is built into the design - the ribbed fabric gives it more airiness and fluffiness. It also looks pretty nice. Softies make "Oprah's favorite loungewear," and I have to assume Oprah checked some background on the company before allowing her name to be associated with them, which bodes well for the quality of their products is. However, the price seems high for what you get (hence the one star). I'd pay extra for something made in the US, but Sofites (like a lot of other things) are made in China. Maybe the price will drop (quite common with Revain), then it's worth buying. For now this is still a great blanket for those who can afford it.
