Yes, assembly is a nightmare; Have an electric screwdriver handy, or prepare to injure your hand trying to tightly fit some of these pieces together. Some of the screws weren't knocked out, but I had extra ones, so it's not a big deal. In addition, one of the brackets without a hook was missing. I never understood what half the black plastic pins were for! I didn't miss anything important, but my center sticks were different lengths; as a result, even though everything was assembled correctly, it hung a bit crooked and part of it seemed to bounce in the air. So I screwed the bottom left leg to the door so it lay flat and the problem was solved. Lol ghetto but functional. Each row contains one pair of boots or two pairs of tennis shoes. I don't have a lot of shoes, so I still have a few spaces for a rolled up jacket, dog leashes, and some tennis balls. Highly recommended!
