We live in the Midwest so our winters can get pretty cold (below zero degrees). Our blue heeler handles the extreme heat & cold pretty well but she loves hanging outside by herself so this coat is nice to throw on. Pretty easy to put on & take off. The fur hood is a nice touch, can zip it all the way up or leave it down. I especially love that it acts as a harness so she can wear it on walks/hikes. Our dog loves to just be involved in anything we do, so she was ecstatic when she realized that she gets to put on a coat just like mom & dad! She will ask us almost every time to put it on before she goes out to the bathroom. Even if it gets a little wet, it dries pretty fast.
