I took a chance and bought them online. I rarely buy shoes online because most of the time they don't fit, are cheap, etc. These shoes are what I really need. I have plantar fasciitis (sp?) and twisted ankles. So I have to wear shoes all the time. The problem with most shoes is putting them on, taking them off and holding them, and durable shoes are heavy. It's easy to put on and has a pull tab. The back is a bit higher than most so they hold securely. They are lightweight and the mesh is thick enough that socks are not needed. In addition, the mesh does not stretch over time and does not become too large. The sole is soft and supports the foot well. PLUS they are sturdy without being heavy. Since my feet vary in size by half a size, the top laces help me measure them better. In fact, you don't even have to tie your cords. Shoes fit perfectly on the foot.
