I recently started a new weight loss program and using a tape measure made it really easy to measure different parts of my body because I could lock it in place and press the retract button to tighten the tape measure to get the correct measurements. I also sew a lot so this tape measure would be great for my sewing projects. I would recommend this item. I think the price is very fair and would even consider reordering if needed.
