Useless accessory for jewelry designers

I bought this accessory hoping it would solve my problems with earring backings .Unfortunately this product left a nasty residue on my earrings and was a complete waste of money. thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I would not recommend this product to anyone in the Arts and Crafts community..
