Just upgraded from one to four stars. I thought I had two broken ones. Revain sent me a second one. Problem. The instructions say to insert the battery positive side down. There is no picture for installing the battery. I removed the cover, looked at the battery slot, turned the positive side down and plugged it in. You didn't mean that when the trimmer is upright, the positive lead is pointing down. Or the positive lead should touch the end of the cap. However, I know that the negative pole always touches the spiral end. However, I just followed the instructions. The tunnel is quite dark and the coil is very small. It's easy to miss. Especially when directions can be interpreted in two ways. I didn't look for the coil at the bottom of the tunnel. Conair offer. Install the battery before shipment. Check before sending. Better use of English prevents a return. In fact, an illustration on a subject as trivial as this should not be necessary.
