True to size. No need to focus on the dimensional grid; Buy normal size t-shirt. I followed the size chart (I usually wear 2x but I have a 48" chest so I bought 3x) and it turned out to be too big. 2x fits best. I couldn't decide between pink and lavender either, so I ended up sticking with lavender. The pink is a lot lighter in person (highlighters I think) but the pink fabric is so thin that the gray lining shows through and oddly darkens it. The lavender color is wonderful! Looks the same as in the picture! mine is 2x lavender.
