I bought this belly ring because traditional bar rings would be annoying and uncomfortable under the uniform/gear I have to wear at work. I was hoping the infinity style ring would be more comfortable and less droopy. It's perfect for a standard belly piercing done by a pro (don't know if it will fit if you pierce yourself at home). It takes some dexterity to open and reassemble it. I've found that two pairs of needle nose pliers work best, one pair to hold the ring and the other to hold the small detachable segment to pull out and put back in. Now that the piercing goes in and comes back in one piece, you can rotate it an infinite number of times and there are no edges or anything to snag on. It's very practical and minimalist. I am very happy with it.
