Recently got a fan. Try to run out of the box. The blade barely turned. Battery fully charged. Try turning the fan on again. The blade barely turned. The sound of metal on metal can be heard. We also ordered a 16 inch fan which seems to work fine. Hopefully it's just a bling and the replacement fan works fine. I'm glad we didn't just pack it with our camping gear without testing it first. If the replacement also works on 16" I will change it to more stars. The 16" fan is not as quiet as advertised. It is as loud as a regular box fan of the same size. Moves air pretty well. The fan itself is easy to move and adjust direction when working properly. like any other boxing fan of this size. I don't find it particularly light or heavy. should be wrapped, was torn and crumpled up the side of the fan, that AC adapter was placed in the bottom of the bag not unraveled not neatly boxed and shipped boxed let's see if this one works The blade was spinning but the metal ring hit the metal ring as the blade accelerated indicating something inside of the cage. Right now I'm lucky that the 16" fan doesn't work. Works and the replaced fan will be returned for a refund. I also like that I got a spare item can be received within 4 days, but e-money transfer for this item takes 3-5 days.
