The buckle out of the box is ok. after prolonged use they will "loosen "
brand new they are great. However, I had the same brand from another source (used for a few years). I tried to contact the original seller but there was none. I researched and developed a new (same NOS). The buckle latch (friction grip) wears out and you lose torque. The buckle comes loose. I still have the old buckle if the current seller wants it sent to the source. 4 stars like new but should not be worn like this.
